
The Health Care delegation attended course organized by WHO
Zaza Sopromadze, Deputy Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs attended the course organized by WHO Regional Office on healthcare financing. The four-day study course focused on the goals of the health care system financing policy, tools, strategic procurement, accumulation and fragmentation of funds on the examples of Georgia, Latvia, Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
At the completion of the course, based on study materials one example of the countries was discussed and presented presentations and posters on the ways of solving existing problems. The works were evaluated by secret ballot and the winner became Georgia.
At the end of the training course, Hans Klughey, Director of the Healthcare and Public Health Division of the WHO Regional Office of the World Health Organization, presented Georgia's achievements in the healthcare system and positively evaluated the ongoing processes in the country.
