The Minister met with the Medical Society of Adjara Region

Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia David Sergeenko, met with the Medical Society of Adjara Region. The meeting was held in the discussion mode. David Sergeenko provided information about the programs implemented recently by the Ministry to 50 head of medical institutions and various professors and specialists .  Special attention was paid to the program for provideng medicines of chronic illness. At the meeting with the medical community of Adjara, they discussed the campaign launched under the hepatitis C elimination program and highlighted the necessity of involving citizens in universal screening  for the successful implementation of the Public Health Project. At the meeting held in  Shota Rustaveli State University conference hall attended Minister of health and social affairs  of Autonomous Republic of Adjara Zaal Mikeladze, chairman of the Health Committee of the Parliament  Akaki Zoidze, Deputy Chairman Levan Koberidze, Deputy Minister of Health of Georgia Nino Berdzuli, herad of health care department of ministry of helath Marina Drakhvelidze and other officials.
