White Gown Ceremony 2017

The White  Gown Ceremony was held at Tbilisi State Medical University. Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs David  Sergeenko congratulated the American program students of the diplomed medicine. Professor Zurab Vadachkoria, Rector of the Tbilisi State Medical University opened the fifth ceremony of white gown. The program students were welcomed and traditionally dressed with TSMU and American program emblematic white gowns. The event was also attended by the ambassador of USA- Ian Kelly; Vice-Commander of the United States Army Medical Research Department -Marc Hartley and other honorable guests invited from the US as well as from Georgia. Among the invited guests were the second-year students who returned from USA, who were taking part in a special program - "Summer in  Emory" at Emory University Medical School for a month. About 120 students enrolled in the American program of the diplomed medicine in 2017.
