Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs joined the annual celebration of “Akhmetoba 2017”

Ministry of health joined the public celebration - “Akhmetoba 2017”. Mobile ambulatory dispensaries of National Center for Disease Control and Public Health  were located on the territory of Bidzina Cholokashvili Square. During the event the local residents  were screened for hepatitis C by the group of professional doctors. The hepatitis C test was free for all volunteers. Other Government offices participated in the celebration. “Bidzinaoba” is annually celebrated on October 1st and it is dedicated to the memory of a Christian martyr, Bakhtrioni Uprising leader Bidzina Cholokashvili.
