Ministry of health introduced the Data of Health and Welfare of Georgia

Deputy Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs Nino Berdzuli, the director of WHO Regional Bureau Information, Evidence, Research and Investment Department Claudia Stein and the director of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze presented the Data of Health and Welfare of Georgia.

According to the Deputy Minister of Health, registration of diseases in the country, as well as birth and death registration has been successfully improved, which makes it possible to evaluate the challenges and determine the right policy.

Claudia Stein, the Director of Information, Evidence, Research and Innovations Department of the World Health Organization (WHO) focused on Georgia’s significant progress in the mentioned field.
With the support of WHO regional bureau, the analysis of Health and Welfare in Georgia  have been prepared by the Ministry of Health, the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health as well.
