David Sergeenko, Minister of Labour, Health and Social Affairs met with the heads of clinics. The main topic of the meeting was the changes and plans in the system next year. The Minister informed the medical community about the progress of the universal healthcare program, the shortcomings and revealed achievements. "Selective contracts will continue in the direction of maternal and child care institutions as well as the quality and cost-effectiveness oriented approaches. The clinics will get acquainted with the achievements and shortcomings that have been observed during the year. This is basically organizational issues,” said Davit Sergeenko.

According to the representatives of medical society, similar meetings and positions are important to eliminate the identified defects.
