Tamar Gabunia Meets with German Health Experts and Oncologists
Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Tamar Gabunia met with German health experts and oncologists. The meeting was aimed at strengthening relationships and cooperation between Georgia and Germany in the field of healthcare.
German experts focused on prospects of cooperation between Tbilisi State Medical University and Berlin University, which will allow Georgia youth to receive education in German medical facilities. This initiative will contribute to improved quality of medical services in the country and empowering young generation.
The participants of the meeting reflected on State C Hepatitis Program, successfully implemented in Georgia through the years.
The meeting was attended by Coordinators of Georgia National Tuberculosis Program, Prof. Zaza Avaliani, Professor of Berlin Charité University, Helmut Hahn and other members of delegation.
