Tamar Gabunia: “Commercialization of the Republican Hospital is totally out of question; location of the clinic will not be changed either”

 “Commercialization of the Republican Hospital is totally out of question; location of the clinic will not be changed either”, - stated First Deputy Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Tamar Gabunia.

According to Tamar Gabunia, complaint with modern standards, high-tech new State clinic will be arranged at exactly the same location where currently Republican Hospital is situated.

“Prepared project envisages renovation of Republican Hospital, re-equipping and it’s operationalization with strengthened capacities. Certain transition period will take place for construction works, rearrangement, and equipping. Please be reassured, that during this period rights of medical personnel both in terms of reimbursement and employment will be fully protected”, - stated Tamar Gabunia.

As stated by Tamar Gabunia, detailed presentation of the concept of a new Republican Hospital will be held in the very near future.
