“When there are risks to patient’s life, it is better to stop operation of the facility”, - stated First Deputy Minister of Health of Georgia, Tamar Gabunia at the Parliament while discussing legislative changes on functioning of Regulation Agency for Medical and Pharmaceutical Activities.
According to Tamar Gabunia, providing the Regulation Agency with possibilities for effective, prompt, uninterrupted work is essential for the purposes of accessibility to quality healthcare and patient safety.
As stated by Deputy Minister, the presented bill is designated for this very purpose.
